Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

TablePay ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account (business name, email, phone, address), data generated through platform use (orders, analytics, customer interactions), and technical data (IP addresses, browser type, device information). For guests, we collect only what's needed to process their order — no account required.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to operate the platform (process orders, display menus, handle payments), improve our services (analytics, bug fixes), communicate with you (support, product updates), and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Payment Information

TablePay never stores credit card numbers, bank details, or payment credentials. All payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, etc.). We only store transaction references and amounts for your records.

4. Guest Data

When a guest scans a QR code and places an order, we process their order data on behalf of the restaurant. Guests are not required to create accounts or provide personal information beyond what's needed for their order. Guest data belongs to the restaurant, not to TablePay.

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Data is stored on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. Regular backups ensure data durability. Access is restricted by role-based controls.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where required by law. You can request data export or deletion at any time.

7. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for payment processing, email delivery, and infrastructure hosting. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that track users across sites. Your browser settings control cookie behavior.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data. You can exercise these rights from your dashboard settings or by contacting us at privacy@tablepay.pro. We respond to all requests within 30 days.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries where our infrastructure is located. We ensure adequate protection through encryption, contractual safeguards, and compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
